Pete has spent the last 23 years helping people develop themselves, their businesses and organisations. Clients are wide-ranging - from the arts, creative industries, universities, national and local charities and private companies.
Most of the support is future focussed - planning ahead, goal setting, encouraging individuals to think about the future in compelling ways, using a range of powerful coaching techniques.
Areas of specialism include: Business planning, Pre-start-up analysis of business ideas, Marketing - traditional techniques, relationship/networking and viral marketing/social networking, helping clients develop new products & services, identifying opportunities for growth. Pete also has a proven track record in supporting successful grant applications to major trusts and funding agencies such as Arts Council England.
Having run his own consultancy since 1984, he has strong empathy with those who work for/aspire to work for themselves - and of the concomitant challenges to work/life balance, issues of isolation and financial insecurities that come with the territory.
Pete works one to one, facilitates groups, runs creative strategy seminars and business simulation exercises. He also trains/speaks on a variety of creative business topics: business and strategic planning, organisational sustainability, and creative marketing and evaluation techniques.
He is an Associate of the Institute of Business Consulting and has full professional indemnity and public liability insurance.
